welcome to the weekly scrapbook
a collection of thoughts, reflections and experiences on what it means to navigate modern life.
What is The Weekly Scrapbook?
The Weekly Scrapbook is a messy, raw collection of thoughts.
Itβs my never-ending desire to write, investigate, and think about everything that matters to me.
Itβs about being in your 20s and not knowing whatβs going on most of the time. Itβs about moving abroad completely alone for the first time, facing the reality that everything youβve ever known is no longer your pillar. Itβs about being addicted to your phoneβand desperately trying not to be. Itβs about searching for meaning everywhere, in absolutely everything.
Itβs about being a victim of the loneliness epidemic, addictive short-form content and the endless cycle of microtrends. Itβs about thinking about all of these things, analyzing them, and realizing that if someone feels the same, maybe you are not as lonely as you thought.
Itβs about being multi-passionate and loving many things at onceβlike music, and movies, and books, and fashion, and writing, and scrapbooking, and all the things that make us feel human.
Welcome to The Weekly Scrapbook, a place where we talk about everything and anything at once. Where everything feels incredibly serious and meaningless at the same time. Where we go from existentialism to nihilism in the snap of a finger.
So grab your scissors and your favorite magazine.
This is the place where being messy is celebrated.
